毕业典礼演讲稿(中英文)

New York: I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?

It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: “We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?” They said: “Of course.” My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents’ savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn’t see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn’t interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

It wasn’t all romantic. I didn’t have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends’ rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:

Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn’t have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can’t capture, and I found it fascinating.

None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, it’s likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.

Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

My second story is about love and loss.

I was lucky – I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation – the Macintosh – a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn’t know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down – that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me – I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple’s current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.

My third story is about death.

When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn’t even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor’s code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you’d have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.

I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I’m fine now.

This was the closest I’ve been to facing death, and I hope it’s the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960’s, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

故事从我出生的时候讲起。我的亲生母亲是一个年轻的,没有结婚的大学毕业生。她决定让别人收养我,她十分想让我被大学毕业生收养。所以在我出生的时候,她已经做好了一切的准备工作。所以我的养父母突然在半夜接到了一个电话:“我们现在这儿有一个不小心生出来的男婴,你们想要他吗?”他们回答道: “当然!”但是我亲生母亲随后发现,我的养母从来没有上过大学,我的养父 甚至从没有读过高中。她拒绝签这个收养合同。只是在几个月以后,我的父母答应她一定要让我上大学,那个时候她才勉强同意。

当然我在大学的时候,还不可能把从前的点点滴滴串连起来,但是当我十年后回顾这一切的时候,真的豁然开朗了。

再次说明的是,你在向前展望的时候不可能将这些片断串连起来;你只能在回顾的`时候将点点滴滴串连起来。所以你必须相信这些片断会在你未来的某一天串连起来。你必须要相信某些东西:你的勇气、目的、生命、因缘……这个过程从来没有令我失望,只是让我的生命更加地与众不同。

我的第二个故事是关于爱和失去。

我可以非常肯定,如果我不被Apple开除的话,这些事情一件也不会发生的。这个良药的味道实在是太苦了,但是我想病人需要这个药。有些时候, 生活会拿起一块砖头向你的脑袋上猛拍一下。不要失去信仰。我很清楚唯一使我一直走下去的,就是我做的事情令我无比钟爱。你需要去找到你所爱的东西。对于工作是如此,对于你的爱人也是如此。你的工作将会占据生活中很大的一部分。你只有相信自己所做的是伟大的工作,你才能怡然自得。如果你现在还没有找到,那么继续找、不要停下来,只要全心全意的去找,在你找到的时候,你的心会告诉你的。就像任何真诚的关系,随着岁月的流逝只会越来越紧密。所以继续找,直到你找到它,不要停下来!我的第三个故事是关于死亡的。

当我十七岁的时候, 我读到了一句话:“如果你把每一天都当作生命中最后一天去生活的话,那么有一天你会发现你是正确的。”这句话给我留下了一个印象。从那时开始,过了33 年,我在每天早晨都会对着镜子问自己:“如果今天是我生命中的最后一天, 你会不会完成你今天想做的事情呢?”当答案连续多天是“No”的时候, 我知道自己需要改变某些事情了。

“记住你即将死去”是我一生中遇到的最重要箴言。它帮我指明了生命中重要的选择。因为几乎所有的事情, 包括所有的荣誉、所有的骄傲、所有对难堪和失败的恐惧,这些在死亡面前都会消失。我看到的是留下的真正重要的东西。你有时候会思考你将会失去某些东西, “记住你即将死去”是我知道的避免这些想法的最好办法。你已经赤身裸体了,你没有理由不去跟随自己内心的声音。

大概一年以前, 我被诊断出癌症。我在早晨七点半做了一个检查, 检查清楚的显示在我的胰腺有一个肿瘤。我当时都不知道胰腺是什么东西。医生告诉我那很可能是一种无法治愈的癌症, 我还有三到六个月的时间活在这个世界上。我的医生叫我回家, 然后整理好我的一切, 那是医生对临终病人的标准程序。那意味着你将要把未来十年对你小孩说的话在几个月里面说完.;那意味着把每件事情都安排好, 让你的家人会尽可能轻松的生活;那意味着你要说“再见了”。

我拿着那个诊断书过了一整天,那天晚上我作了一个活切片检查,医生将一个内窥镜从我的喉咙伸进去,通过我的胃, 然后进入我的肠子, 用一根针在我的胰腺上的肿瘤上取了几个细胞。我当时是被麻醉的,但是我的妻子在那里, 后来告诉我,当医生在显微镜下观察这些细胞的时候他们开始尖叫, 因为这些细胞最后竟然是一种非常罕见的可以用手术治愈的胰腺癌症细胞。我做了这个手术,现在我痊愈了。

那是我最接近死亡的时候, 我希望这也是以后的几十年最接近的一次。从死亡线上又活了过来, 我可以比以前把死亡只当成一 种想象中的概念的时候,更肯定一点地对你们说:没有人愿意死, 即使人们想上天堂, 也不会为了去那里而死。但是死亡是我们每个人共同的终点。从来没有人能够逃脱它。也应该如此。因为死亡就是生命中最好的一个发明。它将旧的清除以便给新的让路。你们现在是新的, 但是从现在开始不久以后, 你们将会逐渐的变成旧的然后被送离人生舞台。我很抱歉这很戏剧性, 但是这十分的真实。

你们的时间很有限, 所以不要将他们浪费在重复其他人的生活上。不要被教条束缚,那意味着你和其他人思考的结果一起生活。不要被其他人喧嚣的观点掩盖你真正的内心的声音。还有最重要的是, 你要有勇气去听从你直觉和心灵的指示——它们在某种程度上知道你想要成为什么样子,所有其他的事情都是次要的。

别坚持说英语 Don’t insist on English

I know what you’re thinking. You think I’ve lost my way, and somebody’s going to come on the stage in a minute and guide me gently back to my seat. (Applause) I get that all the time in Dubai. “Here on holiday are you, dear?” (Laughter) “Come to visit the children? How long are you staying?”

我知道你们在想什么,你们觉得我迷路了,马上就会有人走上台温和地把我带回我的座位上。(掌声)。我在迪拜总会遇上这种事。“来这里度假的吗,亲爱的?”(笑声)“来探望孩子的吗?这次要待多久呢?“

Well actually, I hope for a while longer yet. I have been living and teaching in the Gulf for over 30 years. (Applause) And in that time, I have seen a lot of changes. Now that statistic is quite shocking. And I want to talk to you today about language loss and the globalization of English. I want to tell you about my friend who was teaching English to adults in Abu Dhabi. And one fine day, she decided to take them into the garden to teach them some nature vocabulary. But it was she who ended up learning all the Arabic words for the local plants, as well as their uses — medicinal uses, cosmetics, cooking, herbal. How did those students get all that knowledge? Of course, from their grandparents and even their great-grandparents. It’s not necessary to tell you how important it is to be able to communicate across generations.

But sadly, today, languages are dying at an unprecedented rate. A language dies every 14 days. Now, at the same time, English is the undisputed global language. Could there be a connection? Well I don’t know. But I do know that I’ve seen a lot of changes. When I first came out to the Gulf, I came to Kuwait in the days when it was still a hardship post. Actually, not that long ago. That is a little bit too early. But nevertheless, I was recruited by the British Council along with about 25 other teachers. And we were the first non-Muslims to teach in the state schools there in Kuwait. We were brought to teach English because the government wanted to modernize the country and empower the citizens through education. And of course, the U.K. benefited from some of that lovely oil wealth.

但遗憾的是,今天很多语言正在以前所未有的速度消失。每14天就有一种语言消失,而与此同时,英语却无庸置疑地成为全球性的语言。这其中有关联吗?我不知道。但我知道的是,我见证过许多改变。初次来到海湾地区时,我去了科威特。当时教英文仍然是个困难的工作。其实,没有那么久啦,这有点太久以前了。总之,我和其他25位老师一起被英国文化协会聘用。我们是第一批非穆斯林的老师,在科威特的国立学校任教。我们被派到那里教英语,是因为当地政府希望国家可以现代化并透过教育提升公民的水平。当然,英国也能得到些好处,产油国可是很有钱的。

Okay. Now this is the major change that I’ve seen — how teaching English has morphed from being a mutually beneficial practice to becoming a massive international business that it is today. No longer just a foreign language on the school curriculum. And no longer the sole domain of mother England. It has become a bandwagon for every English-speaking nation on earth. And why not? After all, the best education — according to the latest World University Rankings — is to be found in the universities of the U.K. and the U.S. So everybody wants to have an English education, naturally. But if you’re not a native speaker, you have to pass a test.

言归正传,我见过最大的改变,就是英语教学的蜕变如何从一个互惠互利的行为变成今天这种大规模的国际产业。英语不再是学校课程里的外语学科,也不再只是英国的专利。英语(教学)已经成为所有英语系国家追逐的潮流。何乐而不为呢?毕竟,最好的教育来自于最好的大学,而根据最新的世界大学排名,那些名列前茅的都是英国和美国的大学。所以自然每个人都想接受英语教育,但如果你不是以英文为母语,你就要通过考试。

Now can it be right to reject a student on linguistic ability alone? Perhaps you have a computer scientist who’s a genius. Would he need the same language as a lawyer, for example? Well, I don’t think so. We English teachers reject them all the time. We put a stop sign, and we stop them in their tracks. They can’t pursue their dream any longer, till they get English. Now let me put it this way, if I met a monolingual Dutch speaker who had the cure for cancer, would I stop him from entering my British University? I don’t think so. But indeed, that is exactly what we do. We English teachers are the gatekeepers. And you have to satisfy us first that your English is good enough. Now it can be dangerous to give too much power to a narrow segment of society. Maybe the barrier would be too universal.

但仅凭语言能力就拒绝学生这样对吗?譬如如果你碰到一位天才计算机科学家,但他会需要有和律师一样的语言能力吗?我不这么认为。但身为英语老师的我们,却总是拒绝他们。我们处处设限,将学生挡在路上,使他们无法再追求自己的梦想,直到他们通过考试。现在容我换一个方式说,如果我遇到了一位只会说荷兰话的人,而这个人能治愈癌症,我会阻止他进入我的英国大学吗?我想不会。但事实上,我们的确在做这种事。我们这些英语老师就是把关的。你必须先让我们满意,使我们认定你的英文够好。但这可能是危险的。把太多的权力交由这么小的一群人把持,也许会令这种障碍太过普及。

Okay. ”But,“ I hear you say, ”what about the research? It’s all in English.“ So the books are in English, the journals are done in English, but that is a self-fulfilling prophecy. It feeds the English requirement. And so it goes on. I ask you, what happened to translation? If you think about the Islamic Golden Age, there was lots of translation then. They translated from Latin and Greek into Arabic, into Persian, and then it was translated on into the Germanic languages of Europe and the Romance languages. And so light shone upon the Dark Ages of Europe. Now don’t get me wrong; I am not against teaching English, all you English teachers out there. I love it that we have a global language. We need one today more than ever. But I am against using it as a barrier. Do we really want to end up with 600 languages and the main one being English, or Chinese? We need more than that. Where do we draw the line? This system equates intelligence with a knowledge of English which is quite arbitrary.

于是,我听到你们问”但是研究呢?研究报告都要用英文。”的确,研究论著和期刊都要用英文发表,但这只是一种理所当然的现象。有英语要求,自然就有英语供给,然后就这么循环下去。我倒想问问大家,为什么不用翻译呢?想想伊斯兰的黄金时代,当时翻译盛行,人们把拉丁文和希腊文翻译成阿拉伯文或波斯文,然后再由拉伯文或波斯文翻译为欧洲的日耳曼语言以及罗曼语言。于是文明照亮了欧洲的黑暗时代。但不要误会我的意思,我不是反对英语教学或是在座所有的英语老师。我很高兴我们有一个全球性的语言,这在今日尤为重要。但我反对用英语设立障碍。难道我们真希望世界上只剩下600种语言,其中又以英文或中文为主流吗?我们需要的不只如此。那么我们该如何拿捏呢?这个体制把智能和英语能力画上等号这是相当武断的。

And I want to remind you that the giants upon whose shoulders today’s intelligentsia stand did not have to have English, they didn’t have to pass an English test. Case in point, Einstein. He, by the way, was considered remedial at school because he was, in fact, dyslexic. But fortunately for the world, he did not have to pass an English test. Because they didn’t start until 1964 with TOEFL, the American test of English. Now it’s exploded. There are lots and lots of tests of English. And millions and millions of students take these tests every year. Now you might think, you and me, those fees aren’t bad, they’re okay, but they are prohibitive to so many millions of poor people. So immediately, we’re rejecting them.

我想要提醒你们,扶持当代知识分子的这些“巨人肩膀“不必非得具有英文能力,他们不需要通过英语考试。爱因斯坦就是典型的例子。顺便说一下,他在学校还曾被认为需要课外补习,因为他其实有阅读障碍。但对整个世界来说,很幸运的当时他不需要通过英语考试,因为他们直到1964年才开始使用托福。现在英语测验太泛滥了,有太多太多的英语测验,以及成千上万的学生每年都在参加这些考试。现在你会认为,你和我都这么想,这些费用不贵,价钱满合理的。但是对数百万的穷人来说,这些费用高不可攀。所以,当下我们又拒绝了他们。

It brings to mind a headline I saw recently: ”Education: The Great Divide.“ Now I get it, I understand why people would focus on English. They want to give their children the best chance in life. And to do that, they need a Western education. Because, of course, the best jobs go to people out of the Western Universities, that I put on earlier. It’s a circular thing.

这使我想起最近看到的一个新闻标题:“教育:大鸿沟”现在我懂了。我了解为什么大家都重视英语,因为他们希望给孩子最好的人生机会。为了达成这目的,他们需要西方教育。毕竟,不可否认,最好的工作都留给那些西方大学毕业出来的人。就像我之前说的,这是一种循环。

Okay. Let me tell you a story about two scientists, two English scientists. They were doing an experiment to do with genetics and the forelimbs and the hind limbs of animals. But they couldn’t get the results they wanted. They really didn’t know what to do, until along came a German scientist who realized that they were using two words for forelimb and hind limb, whereas genetics does not differentiate and neither does German. So bingo, problem solved. If you can’t think a thought, you are stuck. But if another language can think that thought, then, by cooperating, we can achieve and learn so much more.

好,我跟你们说一个关于两位科学家的故事:有两位英国科学家在做一项实验,是关于遗传学的,以及动物的前、后肢。但他们无法得到他们想要的结果。他们真的不知道该怎么办,直到来了一位德国的科学家。他发现在英文里前肢和后肢是不同的二个字,但在遗传学上没有区别。在德语也是同一个字。所以,叮!问题解决了。如果你不能想到一个念头,你会卡在那里。但如果另一个语言能想到那念头,然后通过合作我们可以达成目的,也学到更多。

My daughter, came to England from Kuwait. She had studied science and mathematics in Arabic. It’s an Arabic medium school. She had to translate it into English at her grammar school. And she was the best in the class at those subjects. Which tells us that, when students come to us from abroad, we may not be giving them enough credit for what they know, and they know it in their own language. When a language dies, we don’t know what we lose with that language.

我的女儿从科威特来到英格兰,她在阿拉伯的学校学习科学和数学。那是所阿拉伯中学。在学校里,她得把这些知识翻译成英文,而她在班上却能在这些学科上拿到最好的成绩。这告诉我们,当外籍学生来找我们,我们可能无法针对他们所知道的给予赞赏,因为那是来自于他们母语的知识。当一个语言消失时,我们不知道还有什么也会一并失去。

This is — I don’t know if you saw it on CNN recently — they gave the Heroes Award to a young Kenyan shepherd boy who couldn’t study at night in his village like all the village children,because the kerosene lamp, it had smoke and it damaged his eyes. And anyway, there was never enough kerosene, because what does a dollar a day buy for you? So he invented a cost-free solar lamp. And now the children in his village get the same grades at school as the children who have electricity at home. (Applause) When he received his award, he said these lovely words: ”The children can lead Africa from what it is today, a dark continent, to a light continent.“ A simple idea, but it could have such far-reaching consequences.

这是–我不知道各位有没有看最近的CNN–他们将一座英雄奖授予一位年轻的肯亚牧童。在他住的村庄里,他和村里其它的孩童一样无法在夜晚读书,因为煤油灯产生的烟雾会弄伤他的眼睛。再说,他也没有足够的煤油——毕竟,每天只有一块美金的收入,你还能买什么?所以他发明了不需成本的太阳能灯。现在他们村里的孩子们的成绩都和那些家里有电的孩子相同(掌声)。当他接受奖励时,说了下面这句话:”这些孩子可以带领非洲这块黑暗大陆迎向光明“一个简单的想法,却有着深远的影响。

People who have no light, whether it’s physical or metaphorical, cannot pass our exams, and we can never know what they know. Let us not keep them and ourselves in the dark. Let us celebrate diversity. Mind your language. Use it to spread great ideas.

没有“光”的人——无论具体来说,还是抽象来说,都无法通过我们的测验。我们也无法了解他们拥有的知识。别让他们和我们自己都身处在黑暗里,让我们一同为多元性欢呼!关注你自己的语言,用它来宣扬伟大的想法。

大家好!

我是来自文德中学高二年级的一名学生,很荣幸受邀来到此次座谈会,在此我想抒发一已之见――我认为手机是可以流入校园的!

众所周知,近年来市面上的手机产品已经越来越多,越来越发达了,手机甚至早已普及至广大中小学生的手里,它几乎成了我们日常生活中必不可少的用品。而它的利与弊也逐渐在使用手机的过程中显露了出来。手机作为一种学习工具,它里面有丰富的学习资源,例如网课、难题、重难知识点等等,不言可喻的是,这是作为学生的我们所需求的,它甚至成为了老师的教学助手,促进了师生之间的交流和学习。手机也给我们带来了很多便利,我们足不出户就能查找到需要的资料,买到所需的东西,我们也能方便快捷地与他人交流分享有趣的事情。在这个学期,我们的学校也开设了平板班,学生可以自愿选择要不要购买平板,当然购买了平板之后,作用也是挺大的。老师们可以随时在自己的平板里发送信息和布置作业,学生们将会同步收到相关信息,这不仅缩短了下达任务的时间,也能让学生有效率地完成相应的任务。学生提交完作业后,老师可以进行线上批改,可以用语音跟学生对话,指出学生的错误,也能得知每个学生和每道题目的答题情况和数据。在课堂上,老师可以通过平板来进行教学授课,学生只需要通过平板就可以知道老师要讲课的内容了。总而言之,手机要是被好好利用,就可以方便我们的学习。

可以说,手机的功能已经非常齐全了。但世间万物不具十全十美,手机也有一个“反面派”,它汇集了各种不良信息,亦具有各种诱惑,使无数莘莘学子因为沉溺其中而荒废了学业,葬送了前途。有很多学习成绩挺不错的学生,因为接触了手机游戏而深陷其中无法自拔,因为手机上的种种诱惑而讨厌了学习,学习成绩一落千丈。但我认为,这并不代表学校应禁止手机流入校园,反而学校应该将中心转移至培养学生自制能力和教导学生如何求利避弊上。

培养学生的自制能力,学校、家长、学生自己三方应并肩作战。于学校而言,需要加大力度宣传手机的利与弊,反复教导、引领学生正确合理地使用手机,尽其之利服务于我们的学习;课堂上,校方应明文禁止学生使用手机,以教师亲身讲课为主,课下引导学生使用手机弥补不足、查询作业,如有违反,可以制定相关的处罚措施;于家长而言,应该严加管教子女,监督他们的学习,并适当给予鼓励;作为学生的我们,更应该自觉、自律、独立地学习,抵制网络上的不良信息,以“自律者出众”来警示、提醒自己。

手机有利亦有弊,关键在于持有手机的人如何尽其之利,避其之弊。我自己也曾沉游于手机玩乐,其诱惑也着实令处于繁重学业下的我们深深着迷。但在我看来,沉溺于手机之人,皆短见之人,若我们将最美好的青青年华赠送于手机,成为它的奴隶,日后我们必将反悔不已。作为手机的持有者,若其流入校园,我们应利用它来提高我们的学习能力,提升我们的成绩,让它尽自己最大的利益服务于学习。我们要成为手机的主人,自觉抵制各种不良诱惑,谨记教戒于心,求其之利避其之弊皆出于此!

最后,我希望无论是谁,都能够正确地使用手机,以此来提升自己,也遇见越来越优秀的自己。谢谢大家的聆听!我的演讲到此结束!

大家好!

日月逾迈,山河流转。随着时代更迭,科技逐渐在水泥丛林中扎根深入,使得人们的生活有了千变万化。其中,智能手机的发明和发展对人们比影响尤为深远,从而也引出热议话题――手机是否应该进校园?作为一个教师,我认为手机――成功的阻碍。

手机会分散学生注意力。纵望千古,诸葛亮言“静以修身,俭以养德。”杜秋娘道“劝君莫惜金缕衣”,在以往君子眼中,阻碍成功的是“花柳繁华地,温柔富贵乡”。而到当代,这个干扰对象成了手机。聊天软件、视频游戏使手机的使用延伸到自控力的问题。在做作业的时候,脑海中洋溢的是游戏胜利的喜悦;课堂中心里装得是朋友圈中的“人生百态”,这样的现象在我们生活中并不少见。当学生有了“我再看五分钟”的想法后,他便会有60分钟的下一个理由,120分钟的沉浸其中,乃至于1天的无法自拔。这时,注意力便如千里堤坝,溃于蚁穴,而手机轻易地阻碍了成功。

手机会让学生接触不良信息。手机作为移动的信息库,如无际夜空,笼纳万千繁星。可视力愈加模糊的同学们,并不一定能其中的污浊与澄清。面对良莠不齐的传息、网址、言论,大多数学生都难以“固守本心”不为所动,取而代之的是”永拿时代先锋”随波逐流。“网抑云”是大家如今都不陌生的一个梗,随着“丧文化”的兴起,不少人争先恐后地发表例如“生而为人,我很抱歉”的言论,竞相表达对世界不合时宜的感慨,抒写自己的“伪文艺”。青年人是八九点的太阳,他们身上应有着蓬勃的力量和朝气,这种现象,是他们自控力不强的体现,也反映出学生较易受这种”热潮”信息的影响,失去了“海阔凭鱼跃,天高任鸟飞”的博大,丢弃了“好风说借力,送我上青云”的激昂!思想被不良信息污浊,而手机,轻易地阻碍了学生的成功。

“问渠哪得清如许,为有源头活水来”。学习乃是一个自我进行心灵洗涤的过程,让我们对手机的阻碍说“不”,拾起书卷家情似故人,与其晨昏忧乐每相度亲。

尊敬的各位老师,亲爱的同学们:

大家早上好!我讲话的内容是《和手机暂别一会儿》。

其实拿到这个题目我不知道怎么开这个头,很惭愧,我自己也爱玩手机,所以我也做不到正义凛然的号召大家“禁止使用手机”,但是我想很真诚的和大家说“和手机暂时告别一会儿吧”。

告别一会儿的意思是,我不需要我们放下手机,立地成佛,因为这根本就不现实。王者多好玩啊,抖音多有趣啊,手机几乎是我们每个人的必备品,甚至有的人两三部换着玩。但是我们有没有想过为什么同样是使用手机,在家里玩是放松,在学校玩却成了做贼?因为我们心里都有一个潜意识――学校不是用来休闲的地方。

我们每一个站在这里的人都可以称之为黄石这片土地上的佼佼者,承载着许多人的厚望。我们来到这里的初衷肯定都不是因为想换个地方玩手机,但是为什么时间长了,真的有人变成了这样,是因为放弃学习了吗?是因为太爱手机了吗?我想是因为我们自己都不知道自己究竟想要什么吧。以前我们遵循着轨迹走,一切井井有条。如今我们长大了,父母快管不了我们了,似乎我们获得了更多选择权与自由,但实际上这只是一种缺乏自律的盲目。盲目就是在浪费资源,浪费生命。把自己藏在一堆书后面,藏在一个角落盲目地玩着手机的样子真的不好看。

我认识一个朋友,她非常的自律,但她也爱玩手机。举个例子,她可以手机随身带着但是两天不碰;她可以因为老师的一句批评一中午坐在操场上反复去改正那一个错误。这样的人从来没有人会去和她说:“把手机交出来,不准带手机。”我非常佩服她但我做不到像她这样。但是如果我们可以和她有一点点类似的话,就是该努力的时候绝对不分心。如果带手机是为了查找学习资料,或者是疲惫的时候拿出来玩一下,那我也悄悄的支持一下,可惜的是拥有这种自制力的人毕竟在少数。在这种情况下,我们必须逼自己一把,和手机告别一会儿。

其实放下手机之后,失去的是那些零零碎碎偷偷玩的刺激,获得的确是一整天的充实。不是说学校生活本身有多么充实,而是因为我们在远离电子产品的这一段时间里,是一直主动去感受生活的。有人说:“没有方向的时候,就找到一件你认为正确的事情,日以继夜地重复它。”

所以,和手机暂时告别一会儿吧,在该努力的时光里重复一件件小事情,好好学习,好好吃饭,未来的你会在未来耐心的等你。

今天我演讲的主题是:如何正确使用手机。众所周知,社会经济的飞速发展,各种高新技术产品涌现在我们生活的各个角落,手机就是一个典型的代表。不言而喻,手机倍受我们中学生的亲睐,但是,亲爱的同学们,如何正确使用手机,你可曾想过?

我们都知道手机不仅能任在何时间、任何地点帮助我们与亲戚朋友沟通,而且它能充当照相机、摄影机,储存美好的生活片段。此外,手机可以使信息的传播更加方便、快捷,可以让我们接触更多的新鲜事物。当然,随着社会日新月异的变化,手机的功能会更加丰富多样。

但是,任何事物都有两面性,使用手机有利也就有弊。第一:我们高中生使用手机容易滋生攀比现象,同学之间比谁的手机时尚,功能多;第二:我们还是学生,在经济上完全依靠父母,每月的话费也会加重父母的经济负担。此外,我们都还不够成熟,自制力不够强,很容易沉迷手机网络、电影、游戏中,不可自拔;从健康的角度来说手机对人体有辐射伤害;从我们自身来说,我们是学生,学生的任务就是学习,把手机带到课堂上,必然会导致上课注意力不集中,甚至还会影响其他同学。正值花样年华的我们,是学习的黄金时期。我们要学会正确使用手机,充分发挥手机的益处,把弊端控制在最低限度。因此,我有如下建议:

第一:我们要增强正确使用手机的意识,当我们疲劳、烦恼时,可利用手机的娱乐功能放松自己,听听音乐、玩玩游戏,但不可过度依赖手机缓解劳累,要有其他的放松方式。

第二:我们要加强自律能力,要以中学生特有的成熟心理、文明态度使用手机。

第三:老师要做表率,课堂上手机一律关机

同学们,我们是时代的骄子,我们要能够正确使用手机,希望我们都能做手机的主人,而不是沦为手机的奴隶。

在信息技术发达的今天,“手机该不该进校园“引发了社会上的剧烈讨论,在这里,作为学生代表我发表我的见解手机不该进校园。

手机作为新时代的产物,高科技产品,科技发达的缩影已经遍布在我们生活的各个部分。消磨时间离不开它,付钱离不开它,与家人沟通离不开它,可是学习也一定离不开它吗?

唐朝、宋朝、东汉……中华上下王千年的历史,在那些没有手机的年代他们不是照样学习,照样涌现出了一大批李白、杜甫这样名扬千里的文人?美国著名医生威廉·奥斯罗强迫自己每天纸质阅读十五分钟就是为让自己离开手机学习。

“四月的天空如果不肯裂帛,五月的袷衣如何起头?”就拿我们高中生来说,如果现在还想着手机,那高考你拿什么和别人比,出到社会后,你拿什么和别人比?可能有的同学会如”不用依什么风浪,也不要什么船,我自己有海”的态度说你把手机带进校园了但不会玩,你可以控制你自己。真的能控制住自己的,手机能旁边能做到心如止水的有吗?有。只是少得很,屈指可数,就连我们的老师,家长也难。也有的同学说:“手机可以作学习工具来辅助学习,培养自控力是学校职责一,不能一禁了之。”但我认为学校里的老师传授的知识和手机里的是完全不同的,当你遇到难题,用搜题软件和跟老师同学交流得出结论的效果是完全不同的。现在学生的自律性还整体偏低,所以这种“不会走就想学跑步”的行为是不可取的。

“最是人间留不住,朱颜辞镜花辞树”同学们,高考距离我们不远的。希望我们能自觉抵制手机诱惑,让家长老师们监督,让我们在书中找到“树深时见鹿,溪午不闻钟”的美景。在抱怨时请记“严师出高徒”的箴言。

首先很感谢搜狐数码频道以及数码公社给我这次机会参与此次手机”消费与责任“座谈会,作为一名普通的消费者代表,同时也作为一个手机论坛的管理人员,平时接触到很多普通消费者遇到的手机投诉方面的事实,所以我也就这次座谈会的主题发表一下意见。

不可否认,作为消费活动中相对较弱势的一个群体,消费者在手机消费中一直处于一个比较尴尬的地位,也就是通常所说的”花钱不讨好“,按理说我花了钱去消费,就应该享受到相应的服务。可在现实生活中,关于手机消费的投诉却屡见不鲜。在刚刚公布的《20xx年全国消协组织受理投诉情况分析》中,手机成为了投诉量最大单项产品,占到了投诉总量的12。3%,而其中质量投诉更是占据了78。9%的投诉内容,主要的质量问题就包括通话质量差,死机,自动关机,密封性差,待机时间短等等,导致这种质量问题出现相信不仅仅是手机的软件或技术等问题,更为主要的原因就是一些厂商人为因素造成的,目前,有些厂商为了提高利润,就压缩成本,搞一些”虚假宣传“,采取价格欺诈等手段,大肆推销”问题手机“。这种情况在新近的手机厂商中表现的最明显,随着手机牌照的取消,这些新品牌在一夜之间就冒出来了,而且采取了一个目前现阶段还属于法规盲点的推销平台,就是电视直销,霸占了各个省市电视台的电视购物时段,一遍一遍的轰炸着消费者的视觉和听觉,其中一些品牌更是标新立异,打出了更为高科技的卖点,比如”光能充电“”黄金手机“”钛合金手机“等夸大宣传,这样的确可以很快的积累自己的知名度,但是产品的技术和质量却明显达不到标准,导致了很多消费者在上当后怨声载道。这样的行为不仅仅是危害了一个牌子,更是伤害了整个手机行业的信誉度。对这个问题我也有两点建议:

1)建议相关管理部门尽快出台相应的能有效治理”电视直销手机“的法规,让它真正做到有法可依,健康发展,而不仅仅成为骗人的代名词或平台。

2)对在手机制造过程中有违规行为的厂商经过查证核实要进行严厉严处。比如进行高额的罚款,剥夺企业的经营资格等等,这样的话就能大大减少企业犯规的概率。

说完了厂商,来说说经销商的问题,现在一些销售者包括一些大的销售商受利益驱使,没有好好的审核与把关,让一些根本不符合标准的贴牌机或翻新机进入市场,损害了消费者的利益,甚至出现用假冒配件替代真零件的问题出现。更为让人郁闷的就是只要手机售出,无论手机出现任何的质量问题,都要求消费者自行进行检测,只有在出具了相应的检测证明后才给予更换,规避了”谁销售,谁负责“的这个原则。在向消费者解释”三包“规定中,只说明对自己有利的部分,比如滥用”折旧费“,只要退货消费者就需要支付折旧费,没有具体说明三包的服务流程。以发票或三包凭证丢失等为理由拒绝履行”三包“期限中的义务,而在退货过程中又必须消费者提供完整的说明书和包装等等。希望在以后的经营中,经销商能够真正替消费者把好关,能够为用户多想一些,而不是简简单单的卖出产品就好,其余一切就与我无关这种”事不关已,高高挂起“的态度。对违反销售原则的经销商应该予以查处并给予媒体曝光,给消费者一个安全放心的购物环境。

在手机消费中,与我们消费者打交道最多的就是手机售后服务部门了,而这个问题又显得比较矛盾,因为大部分手机售后都是由手机厂商来指定或者操作的,这就产生了消费者认为”球员和裁判同属一个阵营“的担忧,也难免真正保障手机售后服务的公正性,同时,由于厂商的销售点多,所铺设维修点也遍布全国,难免造成售后服务质量参差不齐的情况,比如”小病大治“,夸大产品故障,以旧冒充新零件,要求消费者长时间等待,不按照要求给消费者提供备用机的情况,数码公社就有一位消费者购买完手机,在保修期内出现问题后去售后维修,售后以机器主板存在油渍说消费者在外进行私修而不予保修的情况,导致消费者无法正常维修手机,同时也无法从经销商处退换货的境地。首先撇开问题的责任到底在哪一方不说,这个案例至少证明了在手机的售后服务中存在着一个不小的漏洞,如果售后服务方出于利益考虑,当然这只是极少数情况,隐瞒或找理由拒绝维修业务的话,这个责任由谁来认定。难不成以后每个消费者去买台手机都要随身带着一套拆机工具,看看主板啥的没问题这样才能放心?消费者需要享受三包的时候,就需要这样或那样的门槛,而剥夺消费者的售后权益仅仅凭借没有第三方在场的所谓检查就可以了,这其中本身就是不平等的。解决这一个问题关键所在就是厂商需要建立合格的商品出厂制度,比如对所有出厂品加上易碎贴,这样不仅可以让消费者买的放心,同时也能够很好的遏止经销商和售后维修处出现手脚的可能性。再有就是建立权威的第三方检测机构,在消费者以及厂商客服有相悖意见的时候,由第三方机构进行裁定。同时厂商也要对其所管理的售后部门进行适当的考核,避免由售后服务差劲所给用户带来的不便,并由此造成对自身品牌的不信任,这样就得不偿失了。

最后想说的就是,数码公社手机论坛作为一个消费者认可的平台,将发挥它更大的作用,为用户提供服务,提供一个交流平台,成为用户与厂商、经销商交流的渠道,希望与我们的权威机构,销商朋友做更深层次的沟通,合作,让消费者能够获益。

消费的责任需要消费者,厂商,经销商,售后等多方面共同来维护与承担,只有这样,我们的手机消费才能够真正健康的向前发展,而整个行业也才能够向前推进,谢谢大家!
